From the Artist

In my paintings I have tried to recreate the beautiness of the earthly world .I have incorporated the surroundings of Shantiniketan in my artwork.
Since I have a deep attachment to the village, a lot of rural settings are reflected in my artwork. International influences that set foot in the locality are depicted as emotions and feelings of people.

A lot of media such as various kinds of wall posters, magazines, newspapers and the television brings curiosity in this locality to which I infuse various colours and textures and connect it to the local people’s daily life. Local fairs, temples and various other elements are also incorporated in my artwork.

Through the time and space of my existence, I have come in close contact with nature through which I derive spiritual feelings with various metaphors.
