Care Guide

Artworks should be displayed away from direct sunlight and breeze. To clean accumulated dust from a painting use a soft, dry brush very lightly on the surface. Make sure there is no moisture on the bristles before touching the artwork. Never use any chemical cleaning agents.

For repairing more severe damage, such as cracks or discolouration, it is best to seek help from a professional. Once a year, remove the artwork from the wall for a couple of days to let the wall breathe and avoid moisture accumulation.

Framing Guide

We suggest using a frame of minimum 2 inch thickness with either a plain black, brown or white border depending on the wall colour.

Acrylic and Oil paintings don't generally need a glass cover and are simply framed whereas watercolour paintings are framed and covered with glass to protect the artwork.

Size Guide

To determine the correct size of the painting, multiple the height of your available wall space by 0.75 and width by 0.60. This should gave you a good estimation of the size of the painting you should purchase.

For example, if the dimensions of your blank wall are 7 feet (H) x 10 feet (W), the artwork size you should consider is 5 feet (H) x 6 feet (W)

About the Artist

Driven by a keen observation of overlooked patterns and structures in everyday life, Ayush finds inspiration in the textures of marble tiles, uneven cement, clouds, damp walls, and wooden furniture. These elements, though seemingly irregular, contribute to the unique visual language of his abstract art. Over the past 3-4 years, Ayush has refined his expressive tool, finding abstract art to be a more effective medium than speech for conveying his emotions and thoughts. His goal is to create artworks that resonate with audiences on a personal level, connecting through individual interpretations.

From the Artist

Ayush Banerjee is a self-taught artist whose journey began with creating small sceneries and sketches of renowned faces. Fascinated by diverse artistic mediums, Ayush's work has evolved significantly over time. Since 2021, he has transitioned from watercolor landscapes to using ink on paper, oil pastels, and acrylic paint. His art is a blend of abstractism and surrealism, characterized by cloud-like patterns that emerge from his unconscious mind and are expressed through intricate brush strokes.
Ayush's work challenges societal definitions of 'normal,' exploring how perceptions of normalcy, joy, and beauty are subjective. Through abstract patterns, shapes, and androgynous characters, he invites viewers to expand their perceptions and engage deeply with his art.
Ayush has exhibited his work in numerous prestigious galleries, including Monsoon Magic by Artverse at The Academy of Fine Arts in Calcutta and the Monsoon Colour Carnival by The Bengal Art Factory at the Jamini Roy Art Gallery. His participation in the Kolkata Art Fair at the ICCR and Colours of Winter by Artverse at the Birla Academy of Art and Culture has further established his presence in the art community. Additionally, Ayush has held solo exhibitions, most notably at Tribe Cafe, showcasing his unique abstract style and captivating audiences with his visionary art.
